Casio Releases GPS Watch
Casio just announced the release of the GPR-100, a regular looking sporty wrist-watch that just so happens to have GPS capability. The watch apparently uses GPS technology to calculate things like your running time, speed, and pace average when you are out for a jog. The watch can also keep you on your pre-designated route, which is a useful feature for those looking checking out new spots in the woods.
The watch has two HUGE drawbacks, however:
1) The rechargeable battery only lasts 2 hours in “regular mode” and 4 in “low-power mode.”
2) Despite this MAJOR inconvenience, the watch still costs more than $450! Yikes.
