Howard Stern and Sirius News
Sirius announced today that it will launch one of its two Howard Stern channels in September, four months before Stern himself makes the jump from Infinity. As Howard is contractually obligated to not appear on Sirius before December 31st, it’s still unclear what the content of the channel will be, but it’s possible that we might hear Howard on satellite airwaves sooner than expected. The Philadelphia Inquirer reported that the King of All Media is in trouble with the FCC again for a February 4th show which featured women playing golf with sex toys strapped to their head and singing “Amazing Grace” with sausages in their mouths. Should Infinity choose to pull the plug on Stern’s show early, the shock jock said he would start at Sirius the day after his termination.
And chances are, he’ll never look back.
