XM to Cover Live 8 In Full

XM Satellite Radio has announced that it will be expanding its coverage of the upcoming worldwide Live 8 festival to seven channels (XM Channel 40 - 46), with one dedicated channel for each of the six concerts plus another that will jump around to different performances across the globe. That makes a total of 55 hours of performances, including every artist playing at Live 8 in London, Paris, Berlin, Rome, Philadelphia, and Toronto. The broadcasts start XM’s month-long “Julive” celebration, in which XM will broadcast live perfomances all over the platform.

Great news for Americans with no Virgin Atlantic frequent flyer miles who were worrying about how to catch the Pink Floyd reunion.
