Iridium Satellite Services to be Available in Japan
Iridium Satellite has licensed KDDI Network & Solutions as a service provider for the global satellite communications system to enter into the Japanese market. The Japanese Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications recently approved mobile phone and data products and services to be distributed by Iridium and KDDI. This move allows Iridium to globally expand its services while benefiting Japan by offering cost-effective solutions for communication.
